We appreciate all our customers and if your local market has recently closed we welcome you to our sale.  Or if you are not happy where you are, we welcome you to come give us a try.  We thank you for spreading the word about our sale.  We had several new people selling and buying this sale.   We seem to have picked up several new people the last 4 sales.

 Sat weather was decent for a change.  Little windy.  Wayne recovering from Shingles in his eyes and wind was giving him fits. Lots of poultry and hay this sale.  Nice crowd.  Started sale with 34 really nice Nigerian Dwarf goats.  Most animals good slick.  Prices were down on sheep but holiday are over for lamb till about April.  Plants have been open for about 8 days after holidays.

Market Transaction averages below.  This is an average/ by species/ by sex/ no head/ ave weight/ average price per CWT/ ave price by head/ if they went up or down from last sale and by how much in cents per pound/best price by pound at weight.- this page. NC  means no change and NT means- no test- nothing to compare to last sale. NGT means not good test as we may have only had 1 to compare to or weights way different.  STD means  steady-no change from last sale. BB means bottle babies- under 20#.  Gives price averages but you cannot tell quality of animal just by prices.  In pairs means sold with doe  or ewe- could be 1 or 2 kids.

If its’ slick, fat it sells good,  If is a little skinny, prices drop off quite a bit.

If you have a child 12 yr or older that knows the difference between a nanny or billy or kid and Ewe or Ram or lamb and lives in Chandler, Carney, Wellston, Agra area and they are available on 2nd and 4th Sat and wants to work have them come see me on sale day.  I need somebody that can tell the difference and responsible enough to get the job done right.
