Goats and hair sheep sold by head.  Wool sheep sold by CWT(hundred weight) and pairs are sold 1 price for the family.  Our market reports list ALL goats and sheep not just the best ones as some markets do.  This is the prices last sale- they may be higher or lower the next sale.   What is hi bid is what it sells for.

We sold 98 head of livestock - mixed goats,  hair sheep,   wool sheep and 1 llama. Goats prices on good stuff was good, but overall a little down from last sale.  Buyers can’t seem to find what they need.  Good quality brings top prices.  For consignment sale we had a lot of poultry- roosters, some hens,  rabbits, quail, turkeys, some  garden produce- tomatoes,  and more and hay.  Had a small crowd for both livestock and consignment sale but we were competing with OSU and OU footbaall on tv and deer season. Seems like every sale we get a few new people that say they heard about us and decided to come check us out and most say when they leave they’ll be back. We had several new people buying and selling  Thanks for spreading the word about us.

NC  means no change and NT means- no test- nothing to compare to last sale. NGT means not good test as we may have only had 1 to compare to or weights way different.  BB means bottle babies- under 20#.  Gives price averages but you cannot tell quality of animal just by prices.  In pairs means sold with doe  or ewe- could be 1 or 2 kids.

If it’s a good breed, pretty color, slick, fat it will bring top price.  People are looking for QUALITY breeding stock or good meat products.  Excellent quality is bringing top prices. Skinny, old, scruffy, or sickly the prices drop off petty fast.  This sale seemed lighter weights brought more.  Still depends on demand as to where prices go.
